IB PAS among category A research institutions

We are pleased to announce that, following the evaluation of research institutions conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for the years 2022–2025, the W. Szafer Institute of Botany, Polish Academy of Sciences, has been awarded Category A in the field of biological sciences. .

This assessment confirms the high level of our scientific research and other activities, particularly our collaboration with the business enviromnemt. Achieving a higher scientific category is the result of the collective effort of the Institute’s community and, crucially, an endorsement of direction of its current development.
